Please follow these instructions carefully for a safe and speedy recovery!

Possible Symptoms During Recovery
For 2–3 days after surgery, slight bleeding or nasal discharge may occur.
If bleeding exceeds three cups of water in volume, please contact the clinic immediately.
Avoid blowing your nose forcefully for at least one month.
At donor sites such as ear cartilage or rib cartilage, temporary numbness or pain may occur,
but this will gradually improve over time, so do not be overly concerned.

Wound Care & Medication
Take prescribed medication at the exact time and dosage instructed.
To prevent dryness, apply the prescribed ointment lightly on the suture area about twice a day.

Swelling Management
Use an ice pack for the first 3 days, about 3–5 times daily.
Always place clean gauze between the ice pack and your skin to avoid direct contact.
After the 5th day, warm compresses will help reduce swelling further.

Stitch Removal
Keep the surgical site dry until stitches are removed.
Light facial cleansing is allowed, avoiding the operated area.
Dressing is done the day after surgery, external stitches and taping are removed on day 3,
and internal stitches are removed on day 7.
Please follow the treatment schedule provided by the clinic.

Sleeping & Daily Activities
Sleep with your upper body slightly elevated.
Avoid sleeping on your side or stomach.
Take care not to put pressure on the nose during sleep.
Light walking from day 2 can help reduce swelling and aid recovery.

Washing · Makeup · Contact Lenses
From the day after surgery, light showers are allowed,
but avoid direct water contact on the surgical area.
Wearing glasses or sunglasses briefly when needed is acceptable.

No Smoking & No Alcohol
Please avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 4 weeks.
These can interfere with wound healing and increase the risk of infection.

Surgical Results
Major swelling will subside in about 2 weeks,
but the final result can only be assessed after 2–3 months.
The nose shape will gradually change over time, so do not worry.
